ราษฎรจังหวัดสุพรรณบุรีสืบสานภูมิปัญญาการทอผ้าด้วยกี่มือและย้อมด้ายด้วยแก่นขนุนและหมัก น้ำครำต่อมาในปี พ.ศ. 2520 เริ่มทอผ้าโดยใช้ด้ายโทเรและไหมอิตาลี และในปี พ.ศ. 2524 เริ่มทอผ้าด้วยกี่กระตุก ผ้าที่ทอเป็นผ้าฝ้ายทอตัวหนังสือทั้งไทยและอังกฤษ ผ้ามัดหมี่ ผ้าชุด ผ้าลายไส้ปลาไหล ผ้าลายสลับสี ผ้าไหมพื้น ประดิษฐ์
นอกจากนี้แล้ว ยังมีผ้าที่มีชื่อเสียง คือ ผ้าด้นมือ ผ้าฝ้ายลายต่าง ๆ เช่น ลายสายฟ้าที่อำเภอภูทอง ผ้าทอลาวชี ลาวครั่ง อำเภอเดิมบางนางบวช ตำบลป่าสะแก ตำบลบ่อกรุ ตำบลหนองกระทุ่ม และผ้าไหม อำเภอ หนองหญ้าไซ

Suphan Buri

Using skills and patterns passed on from their ancestors,people is Suphan Buri continue their cotton weaving and dyeing in the old style, soaking the threads in the jackfruit core. In B.E. 2520, people started to weave using polyester thread and Italian silk and in 2524 the Office of Textile Industry helped train the villagers to use looms for weaving. The cloth produced included cloth with the English/Thai alphabet, Mud-Mee, dress cloth, Sai-Pla-Lai, striped patterns and plain synthetic silk.
Other cloth produced in this province is equally well known, including Don-Mue cloth and cotton in various patterns such as Sai-Fa from the U thong District, Lao-She Lao-Krang cloth from the Doem Bang Nang Buat District (Pa Sa Kae, Bor Gru and Nong Kratum Sub-districts) and silk from Nong Ya Sai District.
