ในจังหวัดกำแพงเพชร ราษฎรส่วนใหญ่อพยพมาจากภาคอีสานมีพื้นฐานความรู้การทอผ้ามาจากบรรพบุรุษผ้าที่ทอเป็นผ้าไหมมัดหมี่ ผ้าขาวม้าไหม ผ้าขาวม้าโทเร และผ้ามัดหมี่โทเร
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการทอผ้าพื้นและผ้าฝ้าย อาทิ ลายดอกปีบ และทอผ้าไหมที่บ้านหนองนกชุม อำเภอทรายทองวัฒนาที่บ้านลานไผ่ อำเภอพรานกระต่าย และที่ตำบลหินดาต อำเภอปางศิลาทอง มีกลุ่มหัตถกรรมผ้าไท ทอผ้าไหมลายเพชร เป็นต้น

Kamphaeng Phet

The majority of the residents of Kamphaengphet emigrated from the Northeastern part of Thailand, bringing with them the knowledge of weaving gained from their ancestors.
Cotton and silk yardage is woven in the Dok-Peep pattern at Ban Nong Nokchum in Sai Thong Wattana District, Ban Lan Pai in Phran Kratai District and a Tai handicraft group in Hin Dat Sub-district, Pang Silathong District ,where silk is widely woven in the diamond (Phet) pattern.
